A new mechanism CD cut that pursues further specifications, which can be said to be an evolution of the queen cut, uses a bush type joint system and lowers the part of the body that reaches the inside of the cutaway to limit stress caused by the thickness near the high fret. This allows for a smooth shape with less weight. The pickup uses ESP Custom Lab's latest model, H-3. This is a high gain type humbucker with a matte bobbin, black logo, and black pole piece that has a rich low-mid sound. Also, by attaching it directly to the body, it shifts to a tighter sound. The bridge is also a fixed type from ESP Custom Lab, and the bridge plate that surrounds the saddle prevents the saddle from lateral wobbling and allows string vibration to be transmitted to the body without loss. Generally speaking, natural binding is a technique where the edges are not colored and the wood is visible, making it appear as if the binding has been wrapped. EM-II CTM actually uses hard maple material wrapped in the same way as the binding.
